Finally Finished

Finally finished my belated mothers day present....

For some reason, this scarf took me forever to finish. Mum loved it!

It is made from Noro Silk Garden Co 47 T. I like the colours - the mixture of browns and greys remind me of a tabby cat.

Now I have to move on to a bigger project - a cardigan or Jumper maybe?.........

I seem to be only able to knit scarfs at the moment (I would like to try and knit some socks). It's weird - there is a bit of fear of starting a big project. I've never knitted a cardigan or jumper before. I'll just have to take a deep breath, jump in and knit.

I love the fact I bought some wool a few months ago just by falling in love with the colour way, having no idea what I was going to do with it (this is before Ravelry). I could only afford 2 balls at the time thinking it would sit in my stash with the others - then I got my invite to Ravelry and a whole new world opened up to me!
