I was checking out a few people's blogs. After link upon link and I found Soozs' tutorial on Waldorf dolls ( http://soozs.blogspot.com ). It looked easy enough for me to attempt - here is what I came up with.
I'm not happy with with the pink dolls hair. Maybe I'll sew a hat on her head.

I like the embroidery (?) on the blue one. Looks like you did a wonderful job! And as you know, the effort is the main thing that the children will perceive.
