Apple Picking at Bilpin

There's a little round house you've seen before
It has a small chimney this big and no more
It has neither window nor a door
But a star within

By Kim Billington

On Saturday we did a family Autumny thing!.....we went to Bilpin to pick some juicy apples.

It was rainy and a bit muddy but the kids loved it.

It was interesting to see apples of different shapes and sizes. Some of the apples had a bit of hail damage, so they where going cheap. We picked Pink Ladies & Granny Smiths.... the kids tended to get carried away in their excitement, picking just about anything they could get their hands on to try and fill their baskets!

We bought a few Kg's and I made some little apple pies...... (yum...)

I'll bet we are getting some of those apples in the states about now. Loved all the pictures.
