Noro Poncho

A few weeks back the family and I went on our annual pilgrimage down to the South Coast.

On the way during a pit stop at Berry, I checked out Sew And Tell on the main street. It was the first time I had been in there .

I stood drooling over the extensive range of Noro Yarns, Pattern Books and heaps of other knitting books as well.
I bought 2 books; The Twisted Sisters Sock Work Book by Lynne Vogel and Felt Wee Folk - Enchanting Projects by Salley Mavor. One of my goals this year is to make a pair of socks for my Man.
For what seem like an eternity to DH "Treasure" and the kids, I eventually bought some Noro Blossom No 6. The mix of colours is like sweet candy and motivated me to make a Poncho for myself (minus the tassels this time).
The pattern I used was "Butterfly Poncho" from Kinky Knits by The Rare Yarn Company. I like this pattern as it is quick and easy for me to do.

The poncho looks great and those Noro yarns are so interesting!

Must visit Berry while I'm on holiday on the Illawarra coast next week!

Hey Anne,
The poncho looks fantastic! I love the Noro Scarf as well. Thanks for visiting my blog. I bet the stars look beautiful where you are. If you are on Ravelry, look for me. I'm "Irish Clover."

Lovely Poncho! I like the one you made for Katie also. It has inspired me to get my stash of Picasso out to see if I can do anything with it. Keep up the good knitting :-)
