I stumbled upon this art challenge last week at Twinkle Twinkle.
It was too late to join in on the first week. I thought I'd give this week a go so I dusted off my paint brushes and got creating. Being short on time with an 11 month old baby tottering around me, I can only do creativity in short bursts at the moment. I would have liked to add a bit more to it but I'm happy with the little bit I have done.
Here's what I have come up with!
I painted this floral piece on a bit of off cut wood with Jo Sonjas acrylic colours
This week the colours are coral, teal and a splash of white.

Gorgeous. Love the colours. Have a great day!
I like your flower and I like that's it's painted on board, something a bit different.
Lovely flower painting.
Hi, love your painting, so sweet.
This is gorgeous, you did a great job with a little toddler around! I love your teal, it's so bright glowing, your coral flower really stands out. A beautiful piece!
Awww so fresh and pretty!
This is really lovely! Thanks for coming by to visit my entry.
So happy to have you join in! Thank you xo
I really enjoyed that your substrate was wood. It's something I haven't seen while visiting this year's SOC participants. And of course, I love the flower, and how it pops against the teal background. Stunning entry.
Welcome to SOC and this is lovely :)
Thanks for stopping by Anne :)

Hi Anne, well done for joining in (with an 11 month old baby!) - and your artwork is gorgeous. I love that you've painted it on wood, it gives it a folk art kind of look.
Hope to see you joining in next week too!
such a lovely and happy piece
Love your little flower design. I'm just catching up on Summer of Color week 2 comments and it's already week 3. (It was an unusually busy week for me.) Thanks for stopping by to see mine last week.

Oh this is so pretty :-) The colours are lovely shades!
This is gorgeous. I love the bright clear tones you achieved. Have fun with your little one, that time goes so quickly.
Such a pretty flower, like it's laying by the foamy sea :D
