Woolly Rainbow

At the end of last year, my son's kindy teacher gave me this bag of wool odds & ends, half finished crafting, finger knitting, pom-poms and knots. She asked me if there was anything I could do with it. It was a mess. Anyway, after a few hours of detangling I had this beautiful woolly rainbow.

Ummmmm.... let me see what can I do with this.
What about little rainbow baskets for little people to keep their new found treasures in ?

I think it's time to learn to crochet.
Now, I have to try and get past a chain stitch ;)

Oh what a wonderful job you have done there! Sooooooo, you wanna come and untangle mine next? LOL! We have a bag full of feather wool that a certain little puppy climbing into and had a wonderful time. I am far too scared to attempt the clean up.

The colours are stunning! Can't wait to see what you do with them! I am also learning crochet and have mastered the whole "make a square blanket" thing but now my SIL wants me to crochet her a sling! That is going to be interesting! A challenge!

I'd be inclined just to keep them in a basket and look at them! But of course they are just waiting to be transformed into something stunning ...

Hi, Anne! I'm visiting from acorn pies after seeing that you are a new follower. Thanks! I love these colors. Have you seen Attic 24? It is the blog of an English woman who works with these kinds of gorgeous colors, in crochet. Have a look!
