Spring Snow-peas

The weather is warming up. So, my veggies are waking up too.

I planted peas and snow peas in late autumn and they sprouted and grew a little, but not much. I went down to the south coast and when I came back I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of new growth.

I've been picking snow peas off the vine and straight into my mouth! They're not making it inside. Sian had her first little nibble of a snow pea but she wasn't too sure if she liked them. Maybe next time with some hummus!

The Lilac is looking beautiful at the moment. There so many gardens up here in the mountains looking amazing at the moment all in bloom. It's hard to keep my eyes on the road at the moment. They keep difting off to look at the flowers in the gardens, getting ideas for my garden which has been a bit neglected since I've been pregnant and having Sian but all
inspired to get stuck in and get gardening.

Oh I understand the peas not making it into the house, I love them too! They're like little sweeties aren't they? It's so lovely to see lilac again, mine has gone away until we have our Spring next year and the tres are looking quite bare. Thankyou for sharing your ray of sunshine, it's wet and dark here in the UK today! xx
