As an adult and mother of four kids, I'm finding time is flying by. There never seems to be enough hours in the day to get things done.
The other night the kids and I went out for dinner. Their dad was working and I was too tired/lazy ;) to cook so we went out and had pizza.
While we were waiting for our pizza, Katie amused herself on my phone by taking photos of her brothers waiting for pizza. I loved how she captured their expression of impatience while waiting for the pizza to be served. I was reminiscing when I was a child when time seemed to drag on - 5 minutes seemed like hours.
Kids now days live in a fast paced world of instant gratification from modern technology. Sometimes kids need to sit for a moment and be bored to let their problem solving and imagination skills take over.

I think we all suffer from impatience related to being used to instant coffee and microwave ovens. Technology just exacerbates that impatience. I hope the pizza, a meal which I really love, was worth it!
